Daily Devotions

Reading God’s Word: Acts 22:3-30; Psalm 114

Memorizing God’s Word: Jeremiah 29:11-12
For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 114:7
Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob,

Praying God’s Word:
Lord, we need your presence. More than ever we need the reality of the God who is with us. We need your fire to fall in our midst. We need your Words to rumble with reality in our hearts. Father, open our eyes to see you in our entire story. That you are present in our pain. That you are present in our problems. We need your presence, not politics and policies. God, how hard would we tremble to know you are standing among us all day every day? How fast would we fall to know you are watching when we are alone? Move us there. Move me there. Spirit, you are here. Let us live like we believe. Amen.
