Praying God’s Word: “Father, we live in a world of noise. If it is not the television blaring in the background, it is the music we play on our phones. If it is not that, it is the social media we constantly scroll through and the endless emails. Help us to take a lesson from Christ, who, amid a hectic schedule, always took time to get away into a secluded place to refresh. Please help us turn off the noise of our lives, lay down our phones, and listen for your voice, for only then can we find real strength to carry us through our hectic schedules. Amen.”
