Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 119:9,11 ⁹ How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. ¹¹ I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 4:14 (LSB) And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.

Praying God’s Word: “Father, when we think of the ministry of Christ, we often view it in terms of His deity. After all, as the second member of the Trinity, He had the infinite power of God within Him. However, in this verse we find that Christ did not operate in His power and will, but in the power of the Holy Spirit, being led by Him to do Your will. Christ did nothing of His own will, but instead did Your will. Just as the Spirit constantly led Christ, even so, help us to be led daily by the Holy Spirit so that, like Christ, we can do Your will. Amen.”
