Reading God’s Word: Luke 3:21-38; Psalm 118:15-29

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 119:9,11 9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 118:22 (LSB) The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone.

Praying God’s Word “Father, one of the amazing things we read in the Scriptures is how often the experts are wrong. In Your economy, things work backwards from ours. To win, we must lose. To gain, we must give up. To save our lives, we must lose them. To finish first, we must finish last. And finally, what appears to be rejected or dismissed in our eyes is what you have selected to do your mightiest works. Help us to see things as you see them, to live in your economy, and to realize that what may seem of no value in the eyes of men is the very thing You use to do the miraculous.  Amen.”
