Reading God’s Word:  2 Chronicles 31-32; Psalm 70

Memorizing God’s Word: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Meditating on God’s Word: 2 Chronicles 32:8, “‘With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.’ And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, if You are for me, who can be against me? Yet so often I think that what I see is the whole picture, just like Hezekiah’s men did. By all available evidence, they were in dire straits. But You are more valuable, more powerful, more secure, and more real than everything else I can see, taste, and touch, and You are with me to fight my battles! So today, Lord, go out before me. Win the war! I will live in confidence knowing that You are with me. Amen.”
