Reading God’s Word: Ephesians 5:21-6:9; Psalm 149

Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 4:15 (NLT) Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 149:3-4, “Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, there are so many reasons to praise You today and every day, but on this one in particular let me meditate on these two realities: That You delight in Your people, and that You crown them with victory. I am grateful today that You don’t merely tolerate my presence out of some duty, but that You delight in me like a good father. And, I thank You for winning a victory on the cross that I was powerless to win on my own. Let Your pleasure and that victory be made known as I walk through this day in an attitude of praise. Amen.”
