Reading God’s Word: Luke 24:13-35; Psalm 74:13-23

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Peter 4:10, Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 24:32, Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the scriptures to us?

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, as I read our scriptures for today, I am reminded that you are the beginning and the end – the alpha and omega (Revelation 22:13), and the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). It was you who set the sun and moon and ordered creation. It was you who split the sea and delivered your people. It was you who suffered, died and rose again. It was you who paid the penalty for our sin so we may spend eternity with you. May my heart burn within me as I remember that it Is you – past, present and future. Amen.”
