Reading God’s Word: Habakkuk 1-3; Psalm 115
Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Meditating on God’s Word: Habakkuk 1:2a How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen?
Praying God’s Word: “Gracious God, you never turn away from our questions. You invite them! Even those we don’t want to say out loud, Habakkuk says for us. Is God really good? Is God still just? Does God even care? Can I still trust him? These are our questions too, as we wrestle with a good God and a broken world. But the answer is still yes. You are always who you say you are, and we can trust you, even when we don’t understand… Especially then. Increase our faith to say, ‘Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.’ (3:18) Amen.”
