Praying God’s Word: “Father, we are introduced to the only source of power available to us to be faithful witnesses of what You have done, and that is the Holy Spirit. Too often, we attempt to serve You in our own power and in our own strength, but when we do so, we fail miserably. Peter thought he could withstand the temptation to deny Jesus, but without Your help, he easily fell to temptation. Help us not to be like that, but to always turn to You as our source of power, for without You we can do nothing. Amen.”
