Reading God’s Word: John 17:1-26; Psalm 90:1-9
Memorizing God’s Word: John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Meditating on God’s Word: John 17:20-21, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, here on the night that You were betrayed unto death, You thought of us! You thought of those who would believe through the testimony of Your disciples, who were faithful to spread the message of Your gospel throughout the whole world until it reached me. And seeing all this, You prayed in this critical moment that we would also bear witness to You by our unity—that we would be one! So Lord, make us one! Help us to eagerly maintain the unity that is ours through You, and in Your Spirit. Would we seek today to build up Your body in all that we say and do, and consider how we can be more deeply unified for the glory of Your name. Amen.”
