Reading God’s Word: John 12:37-50; Psalm 13

Memorizing God’s Word: John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 13:5-6, “But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, one of the hardest things about the low places of life is not knowing when they will end. When we’re in pain, when we’re in the waiting, when we see the effects of sin in the world and in our lives, we can find ourselves asking this same question: ‘How long, O Lord, will you forget me forever?’ Show me that your salvation is not slow in coming—but even when I don’t see your goodness in front of me, help me to trust in your unfailing love and sing your praise through moments of difficulty. Amen.”
