Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 21-22; Psalm 17

Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 4:6-7Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 17:6-7 I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.  Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes

Praying God’s Word:  Lord, in this prayer David urgently calls on You to deliver him from people trying to kill him.  In these verses we sense the close relationship David has with You; and the confidence he has that You will answer.  Lord, thank you that we have assurance that You hear and will answer our prayers.  That your answer is always what is best for us and your glory.
