Reading God’s Word: Isaiah 36-37

Advent Reading: Philippians 2:5-11

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Meditating on God’s Word: Philippians 2:5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, I need to become more like Jesus. I need to think as He thought, do as He did. There are just too many times in my life when I give in to the way the world thinks, or blaming you when things go wrong, then crediting myself for my successes and my happiness when things go right. May I breathe out my selfishness and sin, and breathe in the Spirit of Jesus. Remind me that all I have has come from you. As the doxology sings, “Praise God from whom all blessings flow.” You alone have been the giver of every good perfect gift. May I be the reflection of Jesus to everyone I meet. May I be part of the joy that you have brought to the world. Amen.
