Reading God’s Word: Acts 5:1- 6:7; Psalm 27

Memorizing God’s Word: Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Acts 5:32 “We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”  Psalm 27:11 Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, we continue to see the apostles living out the truth of Your Word. The Holy Spirit is guiding them and helping them to endure the false witnesses that rose up against them, spouting malicious accusations. As David said, the apostles remained confident that they would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, so they stayed strong and took heart. May we do this also, Amen.
