Reading God’s Word: Luke 7:36-8:3; Psalm 54

Memorizing God’s Word:  Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Luke 8:2-3 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, and Joanna, the wife of Cuza, Herod’s household manager, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their means.  Psalm 54:6 (ESV) With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good.

Praying God’s Word:  Holy Spirit, enable me to joyfully and generously contribute my resources, time, and talents for the support of God’s work.  Help me remember that whatever I have or will ever earn is a gift enabled by you.  Give me an understanding of stewardship and a compassionate heart for helping others as well as my spiritual leaders.
