Reading God’s Word: Luke 18:9-34; Psalm 68:18-26
Memorizing God’s Word: Hebrews 12:2 – “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 68:19–20 “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign Lord come escape from death”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, thank you that You will never abandon me and that you are continually walking with me, giving me the strength I need to face today. Your presence is the source of encouragement and way of escape I need as I deal with today’s challenges and threats. Help me to keep my eyes on You and not my problems, and to choose to trust you, regardless of what is coming my way. Knowing that You are truly God and that you love me, gives me true joy and peace. Amen.”
