Reading God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 7; Psalm 61

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 61:2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Praying God’s Word “Lord, there are times in our lives when it feels we are in exile, far away from you, far away from your love. Our heart grows faint and we feel overwhelmed by the flood of problems and the weight of what we are carrying. When those days come, may we cry out to you from wherever we are and may you meet us and lead us to your heart. You are our refuge, the Rock on which we can stand. We run to you, call out to cry out to you today. Amen.”
