Praying God’s Word “Jesus, not only did You command us to love, You showed us. Just after Judas left, just before Peter denied, You inserted these words: ‘As I have loved you, so you must love one another.’ Help us remember how You’ve loved us. And when love is hardest, when people don’t deserve it, remind us: You’ve loved us at our worst… so we can love the same. We love with a love not our own today. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
