Reading God’s Word: John 3:1-21; Psalm 78:1-16

Memorizing God’s Word: John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Meditating on God’s Word:  John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Praying God’s Word “Lord, returning to basic truths in scriptures grounds our faith. For example, we must be born again (John 3:3). A belief that goes deeper than a surface acknowledgement (‘Even the demons believe there is one God and shudder,’ James 2:19). It is a belief that changes the trajectory of a person’s life. Born again. Born anew. Start over. I surrender to you today as the ‘author and finisher of my faith’ (Hebrews 12:2). You gave your life for me. You desire relationship with me. I am reminded of what you gave, so I could have a Spirit-filled life now and enjoy eternal life later. Amen.”
