Reading God’s Word: Luke 1:57-66; Psalm 113
Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 113:3, “From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised.”
Praying God’s Word “Father, I’m grateful for each and every moment I get to rest in your presence. Wherever I am, whatever came before, and whatever comes after—regardless of these things, this moment is a gift from you. Thank you for speaking to me in your Word. But Father, help me to praise you and consider you not only in this one moment, but as it says elsewhere, to praise you ‘as long as it’s called today.’ You deserve my praise in the morning, afternoon, and evening. You are no less deserving of my praise in the middle watches of the night. So whenever you give me life and breath, let me breathe it out and praise you! Amen.”
