Memorizing God’s Word: Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Meditating on God’s Word: John 20:31 (LSB) …but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

Praying God’s Word “Father, in our meditation for today, John reveals that only a fraction of the things Jesus did were written down in his Gospel. However, what was written down was written so that there would be no doubt that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. That is one thing we can know for certain. Thank you for this record of Jesus’ deeds, and may it deepen our faith in His person and work. Amen.”
