Reading God’s Word: Luke 14-15; Proverbs 24:1-22
Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 16:13 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Meditating on God’s Word: Proverbs 24:13-14 Eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste. Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.
Praying God’s Word “Lord, thank you for the sweetness of honey which is not only sweet to our taste, but also to our soul. Help me to savor the drippings of the honeycomb so much so that they become the joy and delight of my heart. Would your wisdom and your Word satisfy and nourish me all the days of my life. Amen.”
