Reading God’s Word: Mark 3:22-4:20; Psalm 33:1-11
Memorizing God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 4:20 (LSB) And those are the ones which were sown on the good soil: they who hear the word and accept it and are bearing fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
Praying God’s Word “Father, we read in our meditation today that the mark of true belief is fruit-bearing. The other three soils had the seed sown, but only the seed in the good soil bore fruit. In some cases, it was a hundred-fold, an unimaginable yield. In other cases, it was thirty or sixty, but in all cases, it was an exceptional yield. May we examine our lives to evaluate our fruit-bearing. Help us bear as much fruit as we can, not because we can do it in our own strength, but only as we abide in You. Amen.”
