Memorizing God’s Word: 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 44:26  Rise up and help us; rescue us because of your unfailing love.

Praying God’s Word “Lord, sometimes we are tempted to think you don’t see what we’re going through. Like verses 23 and 24 of this Psalm it feels like you are “asleep,” or you have “rejected” us, that you are “hiding your face” from our circumstances. In those moments, remind us that your love is “unfailing!” You never fail to see us, hear us, love us, be for us. In your unfailing love, you rescue us at just the right time, your time. So, we give to you our feelings, our limited perspective, our doubts and fears. And we cry out to you to “rescue us because of your unfailing love!”  Amen.”
