Reading God’s Word: Mark 1:1-15; Psalm 72:1-11

Memorizing God’s Word:  Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 1:10-11 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, He saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased. 

Praying God’s Word   Lord, we don’t fully understand the Trinity.  But in these verses we see Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Thank you for providing that same Holy Spirit to live and breathe in me.  He gives me hope; love in my heart; words to say; teaches me truth; convicts; and guides my prayers.  Thank you.
