Praying God’s Word: “Father, we are reminded in our meditation today that every human being that has ever lived is identified with one of two individuals, having two destinies: Adam and death, or Christ and life. Thank you for the redemption that is made possible by the substitutionary death of Christ, who took our sins upon Himself at the cross. And for those of us who have bowed at the foot of that cross, confessing our sins and seeking forgiveness, our identity is switched from Adam to Christ, which gives us the hope and certainty of eternal life in Your presence. Amen.”
