Reading God’s Word: Matthew 20:20-28; Psalm 46

Memorizing God’s Word: Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 46:1 (LSB) God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble

Praying God’s Word: “Father, if anything is common in our world, it is trouble. All of us will, at some point in our lives, face trouble, whether it is financial trouble, relationship trouble, health struggles, or persecution from the world. When we face trouble, help us to remember that You are a refuge to which we can flee. You will always be there for us. Even when the world may be crashing down upon us, You are waiting for us to come to You for comfort, strength, and a refuge in the storm. Amen.”
