Reading God’s Word: Mark 15:1-15; Psalm 106:1-23

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 15:3-5 The chief priest accused him of many things. So again, Pilate asked him, “Aren’t you going to answer? See how many things they are accusing you of.” But Jesus still made no reply, and Pilate was amazed.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, in the face of false judgement and accusations, you remained calm. You were oppressed and afflicted, yet you did not open your mouth. Fill me with your Spirit so that I may walk in self-control, no matter what others say or do.  Amen.”
