Reading God’s Word: Ruth 3; Proverbs 1:8-33

Memorizing God’s Word: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Meditating on God’s Word: Proverbs 1:33; Ruth 3:5 Whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm… “I will do whatever you say,” Ruth answered.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, you show us a stark contrast today in your Word. The difference between living in the Lord’s wisdom and living in the foolishness of our own. And even though a life of selfish indulgence is tempting, cutting corners is easier, shortchanging your timeline is faster, the end of that life is ‘calamity’ and ‘disaster.’ May we be like Ruth. May we live according to your guidance. May we act upon your words as you lead us in Wisdom today. ‘I will do whatever you say,’ Lord. Amen.”
