Meditating on God’s Word: Colossians 15:1 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, we read in your Word that Jesus, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross. May my own heart be filled with the joy that you alone can give, as I travel through this fallen world that has been corrupted by sin. Keep my eyes on He who has come to the world, not on what the world has come to. May I not forget that as a person thinks, so is he. Keep my focus on you. May you be my joy today, and forever. Amen.
