Meditating on God’s Word:  Acts 26:28-29 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?” Paul replied, “Short time or long—I pray to God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains.”

Praying God’s Word:  Lord, I pray (just as Paul) that my words will persuade my family, my friends, and co-workers to come to believe that Jesus died and rose again, overcame death and sin.  And that if they confess their sins, you will forgive their sins and cleanse them; making them part of God’s family.  1 John 1:9
