Reading God’s Word: 1 Chronicles 15-16; Psalm 43

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 Chronicles 16:35, “Cry out, ‘Save us, God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.’ ”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, Your saving works do more than deliver us from harm; they deliver us to a hope and a future. Forgive us for crying out for salvation and then going on our way! Teach us instead to recognize that if we live, we live to give thanks to Your holy name and glory in Your praise–and if we die, then we will do the very same! Either way, we are here for Your glory alone. Save us so that we may praise You all our days! Amen.”
