Reading God’s Word: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12, Psalm 101

Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 8:18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them.”

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, then brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I am so thankful for your Word you have given us.  You have called us to live a pure, holy life, pleasing to you, and because of your Word, we are fully equipped and made clear on how we ought to walk. Your Word teaches us what is true and right.  It convicts us of sin in our life.  It lovingly guides us along righteous paths. Help me to continue to stand firm on your Word even more, making it a lamp to my feet and light for my path. Amen.”
