Memorizing God’s Word: 1 John 5:12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 John 5:12-13 “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”

Praying God’s Word: Lord, we praise you for this amazing truth today! Perhaps the greatest truth in all of Scripture is in this verse. Not just that we can have eternal life, but that we can know we have eternal life. If we were to die today, and our next breath was drawn in eternity, we can know exactly where it will be. All because we have the Son, who has life, and gives life, and is life Himself. Our hearts break for anyone that doesn’t know that life. So please, Lord, give us more opportunities to share Christ with others! That they too may know they have eternal life. Amen.”
