Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 53:2 God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, we read so many times in your Word that you see us, your eye is always upon us. We can hide from everyone, but not from you. As a loving Father, it must break your heart to see the way most of us live our lives on this earth. So many of us are not seeking you, putting you first in our lives. Forgive us for having the wrong priorities, for our sins and selfishness. May we open our minds and our hearts to the promptings of your Holy Spirit, and build that close relationship with you that you want us to have. Amen.
