Reading God’s Word: 1 Chronicles 9; Psalm 39
Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 39:5, “You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, remind me today that this life is not forever, and that You know just how long my life on this earth will last. Those who seem like they have all they could ever want today will be gone tomorrow. No earthly wealth can rescue us from death forever! So help me to remember that the time that I do have can be used to serve You, who live forever, and who give us hope beyond death through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.”
