Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 27-28; Psalm 113
Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 119:9,11 How can a young person stay on the path of purity. By living according to your word. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Meditating on God’s Word: Deuteronomy 28:14, “Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, there’s no mistake about the path You call us to walk! Thank You for the clarity that Your Word brings to us. Straight and narrow as it is, it’s a path defined by Your love, Your holiness, and Your goodness to us. And that kind of path requires me to lay down the way that I think is best. It’s not always, or even often, easy to walk—but I know it’s good, and that when I walk it I bring You glory. So, Father, help me today to find the strength to walk today, not turning to the right or to the left from absolute surrender to You and Your Spirit in me. Amen.”
