Reading God’s Word: Catch-up Day; Psalm 80

Reviewing Ezra: https://bibleproject.com/explore/video/ezra-nehemiah/

Memorizing God’s Word: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalms 80:3 NLT Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, how often I pray that you would bring change in my life, all while ignoring the change you want to bring in me. It’s not that you aren’t concerned about my needs. You’re my good shepherd! You care deeply for your flock! But your concern for me goes deeper than my daily needs. You’re shaping the character of Christ within me, and you’re using all of my circumstances to do it. Even in Asaph’s desperation, his prayer wasn’t primarily ‘turn our captivity,’ but rather, ‘turn us.’ May that be my prayer as well. Turn me again to yourself, O God. Amen.”
