Reading God’s Word: Luke 22:39-46;Psalm 22:16-31

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 12:9, But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 22:16-18 Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones; people stare at me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, This prophecy of your crucifixion, written many centuries before you came to earth as Jesus, is proof that you are truly sovereign and all-powerful. It demonstrates that your purpose for coming was to pay the price for my sin as well as the sin of everyone else. Faith in this fact gives me a firm foundation for my life, and fills me with hope, strength, and peace. Thank you. Amen.”
