For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, You have saved us through Christ. May we not live our lives in vain by following our own desires. May we become more holy through the Power of the Spirit. May we make every effort to confirm our calling and election, for we are assured that we will not stumble if we live in Your ways. Lord, hear this prayer. Amen.
