Reading God’s Word: Catch-up day, Psalm 17
Reviewing I Kings: Video Summary (8:50)
Memorizing God’s Word: Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 17:5, My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not slipped.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, in the book of I Kings we see the rise and fall of leaders, division and corruption, as well as sin and idol worship. Choosing ‘my way,’ vs. ‘your way,’ fuels the sin that takes over and snuffs out your light in the darkness. Examine me, Lord. Probe my heart. Test me and find nothing. I am guarding my heart, so my feet do not slip on the path you have for me. May I continue to walk in the shadow of your wings ~ going where you go, seeing what you see and loving as you love. ‘I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.’ (Psalm 17:6) Amen.”
