Reading God’s Word: Acts 10:19-43; Psalm 105:1-15

Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Meditating on God’s Word: Acts 10:34-35 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism, but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, in our world today there is such a focus on labels, divisions, and prideful identities, that we are often quick to mark others without seeing them the way You do. God may we always be quick to compassion for those who are hurting, angry, and lost. May we offer kindness as opposed to bitterness. May You reveal to us Your Love to replace our standards, amen.
