Reading God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 13:8-14:20; Psalm 129

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 Corinthians 13:13 (LSB) But now abide faith, hope, love—these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Praying God’s Word: “Father, Paul outlines three great Christian virtues in our meditation today: faith, hope, and love. However, only one of these is eternal in nature. Someday, our faith will become sight, and our hope will become reality. Love, however, will persist long after our time on this earth, making it the only one of the three virtues that extends into the eternal future. Thank You for Your eternal love for us, a love that will never end. Amen.”
