Reading God’s Word: Hebrews 3:1-4:13; Psalm 123
Memorizing God’s Word: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Meditating on God’s Word: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Praying God’s Word: “Father, we are reminded today of the power of the Word of God. It exposes our hearts and our motives, and is a true discerner of our thoughts and attitudes. We always see ourselves as better than we are, and that is why we need to expose ourselves regularly to the truths of Your word so that we may see ourselves more clearly. We may lie to ourselves, but your Word never does. So, help us regularly expose ourselves to the Scriptures so that they may expose our hearts and enable us to see ourselves as we really are so that we may repent of our sin and become more like You. Amen.”
