Praying God’s Word: Lord, it seems like I have always wanted your blessing. I have always wanted the good things and the good feelings you provide. But there are times when I mess up, and don’t feel very blessed, and all too late I realize I haven’t been obedient nor followed you as I should. Yes, it’s me, it’s me, O Lord, standing in the need of prayer! Forgive me for wanting your blessing when I haven’t bowed before you, and surrendered my will and ways to you. May my walk finally follow in your footsteps. Amen.
