Reading God’s Word: John 8:12-37; Psalm 82

Memorizing God’s Word: John 8:31-32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Meditating on God’s Word: John 8:31-32 ESV So Jesus said to the Jews who believed him,” If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Praying God’s Word: “Jesus, you alone are the one true God.  There is no lasting truth outside of you.  In a world that highlights the idea that “your truth is your truth” and “my truth is my truth” and that neither is wrong, help me to stand firm in the unchanging truth of Your Word and Your Word ALONE. Set me free from the lies the world and Satan continually tries to whisper to me and give me ears to hear only your voice.  For You are the one and only truth and life and the one and only way to the Father.  I take hold of this truth today. Amen”
