Meditating on God’s Word: 2 Kings 1:15 The angel of the Lord said to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I can only imagine the kind of fear Elijah must have felt when you finally told him to go down and meet with the king. Yet – he went. Thank You for this reminder today! Please help me to have courage in the midst of people or things that may attack or frighten me. Help me to pray bold prayers and be obedient to Your word and Your calling on my life. Use me today as a man/woman of God! Amen.”
