Reading God’s Word: Psalm 30

Reviewing Genesis: Overview Part One | Overview Part Two

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 23:3-4, “he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 30:11-12, “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!”

Praying God’s Word: “Creator God, David’s words are a wonderful testimony to what you did in the lives of Adam & Eve, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph.  In every moment of today, regardless of the circumstances, help me to truly believe you are at work so that I might join You in joy and gratitude. Because of Jesus, I am a new creation – the old is gone and the new has come!  I trust you and the work you are doing in and through me, Amen.”
