Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 29; Psalm 22

Memorizing God’s Word: Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, there are times in our lives where we may feel like we are in exile and you have abandoned us. Like the ancient Israelites who actually were in exile, may we hear your word loud and clear that you are sovereignly working out your purposes and plans. They are good plans. You have not abandoned us. You are working. You are faithful even when we are unfaithful. And because of your faithfulness, we have hope and a future. We trust you, Lord. Amen.”
