Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 18-19; Psalm 15

Memorizing God’s Word:  Philippians 4:6-7Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 

Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 18:1-3 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.  

Praying God’s Word: Lord, in my mind I think I want to follow you; help me to act upon the Holy Spirit’s prompting even when I don’t know why I am going/doing what He suggested.  Just as Jeremiah went down to the potter’s house, I want to have the faith to actually act upon the things you suggest to do.  Even when I don’t fully understand the reason for the suggestion.
